Implementation Timeline - Kaiser Health Reform

  1. What a great site for helping people, both health care professionals/researchers and the public at large, see the basics of what PPACA will be doing. I love that it breaks down provisions of the law both by year of implementation and topic that it applies to. While it doesn't go into detail about these provisions, it spells them out in a clear and concise manner so that anyone who wants to know more about a particular provision can conduct an additional search specific to their questions.

With so much public outcry against "Obamacare," I think this site is especially important for informing the public about what is actually in the law. It is often mentioned in the news that although general public support of the law is low, many individuals support specific provisions when they are informed of them. This goes to show that much of the public just doesn't know what is actually in PPACA. Hopefully the Kaiser Family Foundation will work to get this information out so that more Americans can make informed decisions about whether they support this legislation or not.
